About Anjali Mangla

My name is Anjali Mangla, and I am a graduate of Yale University, Class of 2024. As a math and science peer tutor in high school, I helped raise my peers’ grades from the B range to the A range in Precalculus, Algebra II, and Chemistry. I have a strong passion for science and mathematics but also enjoy singing a cappella and discussing current events in my free time.

I have completed two scientific research internships, interned with an NGO, and founded my own organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in STEM. Traveling is one of my favorite activities, and I frequently visit India to spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy learning new languages—I speak English, Hindi, and Spanish and am working to learn even more. My favorite place I’ve traveled to so far is Costa Rica.
